S.A. Toor, founder of Chirping Cricketer, is a columnist for The Nation, a Pakistani Newspaper. He writes about international cricket news. He is also a Professor of Global Studies and a native of Connecticut. He lectures on the International Relations, History, and Politics of South Asia at a New England based university’s Department of Government and Politics. He has served as a lecturer and instructor at both the University of Connecticut (OLLI Program) and Stanford University (BING Program), respectively. S.A. Toor is an alum of the former as well as Oxford University’s Oriental Institute and Oxford’s School of Global and Interdisciplinary Area Studies. He holds both an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction as well as an M.Sc. in Modern South Asian Studies with a concentration in International Relations, History, and Politics.
